The City of Overton  provides water, sewer, garbage, Police, Fire and Ambulance services to residents and business owners. Please contact the city regarding all fees associated with these services

Overton is proud to have a Superior Water Rating and it is our intent to continue to supply the best quality water we can to our customers.

Allied Waste is the contracted service that Overton utilizes for garbage.  In addition to the residential carts and commercial dumpsters, Allied provides to the city a refuse container located at city hall for Overton residents.  The hours of operation for this dump station are Mon-Fri, 8:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M.  This is intended for additional garbage and waste that would fit into the residential cart.  Please contact the City prior to bringing items to dump.  Due to the capacity of the dump station, often times we cannot accept trash until the next working day.  For bulky items, a once a month no-charge pickup is offered by Allied.
